GMGN is a multichain memecoin trading terminal with built-in copy trading, available on web, iOS, Android and Telegram, and it charges a flat 1% per trade. It scores 7.3/10 and ranks third: strong tools and reach, but no fee tiers and two security incidents in October 2025 (both compensated).
GMGN at a glance
GMGN runs at gmgn.ai, with mobile apps and a Telegram bot (@GMGN_sol_bot), per CoinCodeCap. It is known for tracking "smart money" wallets and letting you copy them. It supports limit orders on web and Telegram, automated trading, and optional anti-MEV protection, per its fee and settings docs.
It is also one of the most multichain tools here. DefiLlama tracks GMGN on 11 chains, with about $53 million in 30-day fees. Most of that now comes from Robinhood Chain (about $31.7 million) and BNB Chain (about $13.6 million), with about $5.6 million on Solana (DefiLlama, checked September 25, 2026).
GMGN fees
GMGN's docs say: "1% handling fee for a single transaction, and there are no additional charges." Beyond that you pay:
- Network gas (SOL on Solana)
- Priority and tip fees, which GMGN recommends at a total of 0.002-0.005 SOL for normal trades and 0.006 SOL or more for automated limit orders
- Launchpad fees, such as Pump.fun's bonding-curve fee
There are no volume tiers or universal cashback. Copy trades pay the same 1%. That puts GMGN at the same headline cost as Photon and BONKbot, and above Axiom and Trojan once their cashback is counted. Full table: Solana trading bot fees compared.
GMGN referral code
GMGN's referral docs describe commissions of "10% to 30%" for referrers, rising with the volume of people they refer. Third-party sites claim referral codes also lower the fee for the new user, but GMGN's own docs don't state a referee discount, and CoinCodeCap also said it could not verify one. We treat it as unverified. Our GMGN link is an affiliate link.
Features
Copy trading. GMGN's standout feature. Pick a wallet and mirror its trades, with tracking tools to find wallets worth following. Some user reports mention 2-5 second copy delays (uwuu.ai), which matters on fast-moving tokens. Compare in best Solana copy trading bots.
Wallet tracking and discovery. Smart-money tracking and new-token feeds on the web terminal.
Limit orders and automation. Server-side limit orders on web and Telegram.
Anti-MEV. Optional; needs at least 0.002 SOL priority fee, per the docs.
Everywhere. Web, iOS, Android and Telegram, across Solana and EVM chains.
Is GMGN safe?
GMGN's safety page says: "GMGN does not perform any operations on the user's wallet, and we do not have the ability to transfer any user's wallet balance." It urges users to revoke unknown approvals and enable Telegram two-step verification.
Two incidents in October 2025:
- MEV protection failure (Oct 25, 2025). GMGN's anti-MEV nodes on BNB Chain were sandwich-attacked for about 13 hours, affecting 729 user transactions. GMGN restored the nodes and said it fully compensated affected users automatically (Crypto Economy).
- Phishing attack (Oct 28, 2025). Attackers used a fake token website to trick about 107 users into authorizing transactions. GMGN said it blocked the attack and compensated affected users the same day (PANews).
GMGN made users whole both times, which counts in its favor, but two incidents in one week cost it a point net in our method. Learn how to protect yourself in are Solana trading bots safe?

GMGN settings worth knowing
GMGN's fee and settings docs give specific guidance:
- Slippage: 30-35% for automated trading, 50% or more for new or very hot tokens, and automatic slippage for manual trades.
- Priority and tip fees: a combined minimum of 0.002-0.005 SOL for normal trades, and 0.006 SOL or more for automated limit orders so they actually fill. The combined maximum is 2 SOL.
- Anti-MEV: needs a priority fee of at least 0.002 SOL.
High slippage settings protect against failed transactions but can cost you on thin tokens. Start lower on manual trades and raise only when trades fail.
Who should use GMGN
Good fit: traders who want to copy wallets, track smart money, and trade on several chains from web, phone or Telegram.
Look elsewhere if: you mostly trade Solana and want the lowest cost (Trojan or Axiom), or you want the simplest app for copying traders (FOMO).
Verdict
GMGN is the most complete all-rounder for copy trading and multichain memecoins, and it's available on every surface. The flat 1% fee and October 2025 incidents hold it back. If you mainly trade Solana on desktop, Axiom or Trojan will likely cost less.
Risk note: Copy trading can copy losses as easily as wins, and memecoins are extremely high risk. Bots and terminals can be hacked or phished. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.
