GMGN is the stronger product for most traders: the same 1% fee as BONKbot, plus copy trading, native apps and 11 chains. BONKbot is the better choice if you want a simple Solana Telegram bot with limit orders and a trailing stop, and nothing more. GMGN scores 8.7/10 and BONKbot 6.8/10.
Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.

Fees
Both publish a flat 1%. BONKbot's docs: "we charge 1% fees on each successful swap transaction," with free setup. GMGN's docs: a "1% handling fee for a single transaction" with no extra charges.
BONKbot has one possible edge. Its Telemetry terminal says traders can earn a percentage of fees back as rewards depending on volume, and advertises up to 1% cashback, but the tiers aren't published in a form we could verify. So we score both at 1%.
On both, priority fees and the venue's fee are extra. GMGN's docs give concrete guidance: 0.002-0.005 SOL combined priority and tip for normal trades. Read Solana priority fees and slippage before changing the defaults on either.
Winner: tie.

The two approach wallet signals differently. Telemetry watches up to 800 wallets and flags "confluence", when several tracked wallets buy the same token, and leaves the trade to you or an automated strategy. GMGN goes one step further and copies a chosen wallet's trades directly. BONKbot's trailing stop loss and partial fills are useful on thin tokens; GMGN's edge is reach across chains.
Winner: GMGN, narrowly (7 vs 6 on our checklist).
Safety
BONKbot: on March 29, 2024, about 302 Solana wallets were drained of roughly $523,000. Decrypt reported that 113 of the victims had used BONKbot; BONKbot said every affected account had exported its private key and imported it into another app. We treat that as disputed.
GMGN: anti-MEV nodes on BNB Chain were sandwich-attacked for about 13 hours on October 25, 2025, affecting 729 transactions (Crypto Economy), and a phishing attack hit about 107 users on October 28, 2025 (PANews). GMGN said it paid users back in full both times.
Our method gives BONKbot 8.5 and GMGN 8.0 on security. The shared lesson is about keys and links: don't import a bot's key into other apps, and don't sign anything from a site you reached through a token promo. See Telegram trading bot security.
Winner: BONKbot, narrowly.
Ease of use
BONKbot is built for speed on a phone: paste a contract address, choose an amount, confirm. CoinGecko notes Apple Pay and Google Pay funding. GMGN's Telegram bot (@GMGN_sol_bot) is similar, but its full power sits in the web terminal and apps, which take longer to learn. Both score 9 on usability.

Bottom line
At the same 1% price, GMGN gives you more: copy trading, apps and multichain reach. BONKbot is still a sound first Telegram bot with a slightly better security score and a simpler flow. For other Telegram options, see best Solana trading bots for Telegram, Trojan vs BONKbot and the full ranking.
