The best Solana memecoin screener in 2026 is Axiom's Pulse (9.1/10), because it tracks new, near-graduation and migrated tokens with filters for dev holdings, snipers, insiders and bundles, and lets you buy from the same screen. GMGN (8.7) is best for bundle and smart-money data, and Birdeye (8.1) is the best free standalone screener with documented security checks.
Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.
A memecoin screener is different from a general DEX screener. On Solana, most memecoins start on a launchpad bonding curve, like Pump.fun, and the first minutes matter most. The useful screeners show that stage, plus who holds the supply. This page ranks screening features, so the order differs from our main ranking.
What makes a good memecoin screener
- Launch stages: new tokens, tokens close to graduating, and tokens that just migrated to a DEX pool.
- Holder filters: top-10 share, dev holdings, snipers, insiders and bundled wallets.
- Safety flags: mint and freeze authority, LP status, honeypot signs.
- Speed to act: being able to buy from the screen, or at least copy the contract address quickly.
- Honest trending: knowing when rankings are influenced by payments.
The ranking
1. Axiom Pulse: best for active traders
Axiom's Pulse shows three columns: New Pairs, Final Stretch (tokens close to completing the bonding curve) and Migrated. You can filter by age, top-10 holders, dev holdings, snipers, insiders, bundle wallets, total holders, liquidity, volume, market cap and transactions, plus a "Pro Traders" filter. Its wallet tracker shows what your tracked wallets buy "in real time while looking at Pulse."
Screening is free; trading costs 1% base, 0.75%-0.95% net with cashback (Axiom fees).

2. GMGN: best for bundle and wallet data
GMGN's Trenches feed shows Bundle % for new launches (GMGN bundle guide), and its token security panel covers mint, blacklist, LP burn and top-10 holdings (CA security docs). It also labels dev, sniper and insider wallets and flags a creator's rug history. Smart-money tracking is built in (GMGN docs). Trading costs a flat 1%.
- Watch out for: two October 2025 incidents GMGN compensated

3. Birdeye: best free standalone screener
Birdeye's Solana new listings page has New, Final Curve and Migrated tabs, close to what the terminals offer. Its Security Check covers mint and freeze authority, top-10 holders, owner holdings and transfer fees. The free tier limits you to top 10 trending tokens, 3 alerts and 30 days of chart history; PRO removes those limits. Swaps through the site carry a 0.6% processing fee.
4. DEX Screener: best for quick charts
DEX Screener is free and lists every token once it has a pool and a trade (docs). Its Solana new pairs page filters by liquidity, age and market cap. The catch: token projects can pay for Boosts and Enhanced Token Info, and both help a token's Trending Score (trending docs). Use it for charts and new pairs, not as a quality signal. More in DEX Screener alternatives.
5. GeckoTerminal: best free safety score
GeckoTerminal, from the CoinGecko team, gives each pool a 0-100 GT Score that includes checks such as "freeze & mint authority revoked, LP locked" and supply concentration (GT Score). It tracks honeypots, developer holdings, address clusters and early bot buyers too (security indicators). It's free, but it's a second-opinion tool rather than a fast launch feed.
Terminal, now owned by Pump.fun, has a Trenches feed for fresh pairs and an Alpha Tracker for wallet activity, per Terminalpedia. It has no official fee page; the 1% fee is a third-party figure. Head-to-head: Axiom vs Padre.
Also consider: Photon's Memescope screener filters new launches, but Photon's usage has dropped sharply (Photon Guides).

A simple screening routine
- Set baseline filters: a minimum liquidity, a maximum top-10 share and a maximum dev holding. Save them as a preset.
- Watch the stage you trade. New pairs are the riskiest; migrated tokens have at least cleared the bonding curve.
- Open the token page before you buy. Check mint and freeze authority, LP status, bundle share and the dev wallet, as in how to spot a rug pull on Solana.
- Check the contract address against the project's own X account. Copycat tickers are common.
- Cap your size and count fees. Pump.fun's curve fee stacks on your bot fee (what is Pump.fun).
Our full process is in how to find new Solana tokens. A screener that passes a token only means it cleared some technical traps; most memecoins still go to zero.
How we ranked them
We ranked by screening features first: launch-stage coverage, holder filters, safety data and how quickly you can act. Cost, security record and ease of use came next, using the weights in our method. Axiom beats GMGN on filter depth inside one feed; GMGN wins on labeled wallets and rug history. We did not trade through these tools; facts come from the linked pages, checked September 26, 2026.
