Trojan is the better Solana bot on our numbers: a lower net fee (about 0.8% vs 1%), more checklist features and no confirmed security incident. GMGN is better if you trade memecoins on several chains or want a native phone app, and it currently has more Solana usage. Trojan scores 7.0/10 and GMGN 8.7/10.
Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.
GMGN sits above Trojan on our list (#3 vs #4) despite the lower score, because our order is an editors' pick that weighs usage and ease of starting alongside the score (how we rank).

Fees
Same headline, different net. GMGN's docs describe a "1% handling fee" with no extra charges, and copy trades pay the same rate. Trojan also charges 1%, but its rewards page says "all Trojan on Solana users now receive 20% cashback on trading fees", which brings the net to about 0.8%.
For a copy trader, fees repeat on every mirrored buy and sell. Copying a wallet that makes 40 trades of 0.5 SOL a week means 20 SOL of volume: about 0.2 SOL in platform fees on GMGN and about 0.16 SOL on Trojan (our calculation). Priority fees, tips and venue fees come on top with both. GMGN suggests 0.006 SOL or more in combined priority and tip fees for automated limit orders to fill.
GMGN does run a referral program, but it doesn't publish a discount for the person being referred. See GMGN referral code and Trojan referral code for what each program actually offers.
Winner: Trojan.

Both copy wallets, which is rarer than it sounds; Axiom and Photon don't. Trojan adds DCA, perps and a social tracker. GMGN's strength is discovery: its smart-money tracking is how many traders find wallets to follow in the first place, and it works across chains. Some users report 2-5 second delays on GMGN copies (uwuu.ai); we found no comparable figure for Trojan. Our best Solana copy trading bot page ranks all four copy-trading options.
Winner: Trojan on the checklist; GMGN for multichain copy trading.
Safety
GMGN: on October 25, 2025, anti-MEV nodes on BNB Chain were sandwich-attacked for about 13 hours across 729 transactions (Crypto Economy). On October 28, 2025, a phishing attack via a fake token site hit about 107 users (PANews). GMGN said it compensated users in full both times. Its safety page says it cannot transfer user balances.
Trojan: no confirmed platform-level exploit in news coverage or Helius's list of Solana hacks.
Both rely on Telegram for their bot, so your Telegram account is the key to your wallet. Turn on two-step verification and only open bots from official links; fake bots with near-identical names exist. See Telegram trading bot security.
Winner: Trojan.
Ease of use
GMGN has the wider reach: native iOS and Android apps, a Telegram bot, a web terminal, and email or social sign-in. Trojan has Telegram and web, with Simple and Advanced modes in the bot (CoinGecko). Both score 9 on usability in our method. Setup guides: how to use GMGN and how to use Trojan bot.
Winner: tie, with GMGN ahead if you want a real app.
Usage
As of September 26, 2026, DefiLlama shows GMGN with about $5.77 million in 30-day Solana fees, and Trojan with about $1.08 million. GMGN's total is $51.95 million, most of it from Robinhood Chain (about $31.12 million) and BNB Chain (about $12.93 million). On Solana alone, GMGN is roughly five times busier.

Bottom line
If you only trade Solana, Trojan does more for less and has the cleaner history. If you want one app for memecoins on many chains, GMGN has no real rival between these two. Keep copy-trading budgets small either way; a copied wallet can lose as fast as it wins. More comparisons: GMGN vs Axiom, Trojan vs BONKbot and the full ranking.
