Padre is now Terminal, Pump.fun's web trading terminal for Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base, and third-party analysis puts its fee at 1% per trade. It scores 6.8/10 (eighth): capable order tools and a clean security record, but no official fee page or referral terms to verify.
Padre at a glance
Pump.fun announced on X that it had acquired Padre, describing it as a trading terminal for Solana, BNB Chain, Base and Ethereum (Pump.fun on X). Blockworks reported the deal on October 24, 2025, noting Padre had about 4% of the Solana terminal market at the time.
According to Terminalpedia, the product was rebranded "Terminal" and lives at terminal.pump.fun, with trade.padre.gg serving the same app. It is a browser app with no native iOS or Android app as of August 2026.
DefiLlama shows Terminal earned about $5.5 million in fees over 30 days, almost all on Solana (DefiLlama, checked September 25, 2026). That makes it the fourth-busiest Solana app we track, behind Axiom, FOMO and GMGN.

Padre fees
Terminal does not publish a fee page, and Padre's docs don't list one either. What we have is third-party:
- Platform fee: 1% flat per trade, based on Terminalpedia's reading of Terminal's live code (August 2026)
- Cashback: 10% of that fee for direct sign-ups, 35% for sign-ups through a referral link, fixed when the account is created (same source)
- Venue fees: Pump.fun charges 1.25% on its bonding curve, and PumpSwap pools charge between 0.30% and 1.25%, per Pump.fun's docs
Other sites report different numbers (for example, TraderView lists 0.8%), which is exactly the problem. Because none of this is official, our fee score uses the 1% headline with no discount. Compare with others in Solana trading bot fees compared.
Note: trading a token still on Pump.fun's bonding curve stacks Terminal's 1% on top of Pump.fun's 1.25%, both ways. Terminalpedia estimates roughly 4.5% round trip for a bonding-curve token, before slippage.
Padre referral code
Padre and Terminal use referral links, and the reported 35% cashback for referred users would make them one of the cheaper options, if accurate. We couldn't find an official statement confirming it, so treat it as unverified. Our Padre link is an affiliate link.
Features
Per Terminalpedia and third-party reviews:
Limit orders with stop loss and take profit (also confirmed on Padre's docs page).
TWAP to split large entries over time.
Trenches feed for fresh pairs and Alpha Tracker for wallet activity.
MEV protection as an option, plus Solana priority-fee controls.
Copy trading: limited. Terminalpedia says it survives mostly as a legacy tag; other reviews say it's available. We score it as not a full feature.
Multichain: Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base.

Is Padre safe?
We found no reported hack of Padre or Terminal. Terminalpedia says wallets are non-custodial, built on Turnkey, and encrypted with a password the platform doesn't store.
The controversy was about the token, not security. When Pump bought Padre, the PADRE token lost its utility and fell about 80%. After a backlash, Padre said holders would get PUMP tokens as compensation (Blockworks). It's a reminder that platform tokens can lose value overnight when ownership changes.
Also note the product changed hands. The team, policies and roadmap you rely on are now Pump.fun's. More on this in are Solana trading bots safe?

What changed after the Pump.fun deal
- Name and address. Padre became Terminal, at terminal.pump.fun; trade.padre.gg still loads the same app, per Terminalpedia.
- Ownership. Pump.fun now runs the product, so its policies and roadmap are Pump's.
- Token. Pump said the PADRE token would have no further utility; holders were offered PUMP tokens as compensation (Blockworks).
- Usage. DefiLlama's older "Padre" listing stops showing current fees, while the "Terminal" listing (parent: Pump.fun) shows about $5.5 million over 30 days (DefiLlama).
If you still have funds in an old Padre wallet, check them in the current app and move anything you're not actively trading to a wallet you control.
Getting started safely
- Go to terminal.pump.fun directly; don't follow links from DMs or replies.
- Set a strong wallet password. Terminalpedia says the platform doesn't store it, so if you lose it, recovery may not be possible.
- Fund with a small amount and check the fee shown on your first trade against the 1% reported figure.
- Turn on MEV protection for Solana trades.
Who should use Padre (Terminal)
Good fit: desktop traders focused on Pump.fun launches who want limit orders, TWAP and a live launch feed, plus access to Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base.
Look elsewhere if: you want documented fees and discounts (Axiom), copy trading (GMGN), or a phone app (FOMO).
Verdict
Terminal is a capable Pump.fun-native web terminal with real usage and no security incidents. Until it publishes its fees and cashback terms, we can't rank it higher. If you trade mostly Pump.fun launches, it's worth a look; check the fee shown on each trade.
Risk note: Pump.fun launches are among the riskiest memecoins, and stacked fees eat into small trades. Terminals can be hacked or change hands. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
