Axiom has the stronger desktop toolkit for Solana: migration tools, the X monitor and Hyperliquid perps from one screen. GMGN's edge is copy trading, which Axiom doesn't offer, plus wider chain coverage. If copy trading is your priority, see the best Solana copy trading bots.

Winner: tie. Axiom for Solana depth, GMGN for copy trading and chains.

Platforms and ease of use

GMGN is on the web, iOS, Android and Telegram (@GMGN_sol_bot), with sign-in by email, social account or Telegram (CoinCodeCap). Axiom is a web terminal. It works in a mobile browser, but we found no official native app or Telegram bot in Axiom's docs.

If you want to trade from Telegram, see the best Solana trading bots for Telegram.

Winner: GMGN.

Security record

Axiom: On February 26, 2026, CoinDesk reported ZachXBT's allegation that an Axiom employee misused internal support tools to look up user wallet data and track traders, potentially to front-run them. Axiom removed that access and said it was investigating. No user funds were reported stolen.

GMGN: In October 2025, GMGN's anti-MEV nodes on BNB Chain were sandwich-attacked for about 13 hours across 729 transactions (Crypto Economy), and a phishing attack hit about 107 users (PANews). GMGN said it compensated users in full both times.

Our method scores Axiom 8.5 and GMGN 8.0 on security. The Axiom case is about privacy: staff could link wallets to users. The GMGN cases involved real, reimbursed losses. Either way, use a dedicated trading wallet. See are Solana trading bots safe?

Winner: Axiom, narrowly.

Usage

By DefiLlama's 30-day fees (checked September 25, 2026), Axiom earned about $52.9 million, about $45 million of it on Solana (DefiLlama). GMGN earned about $53 million, but only about $5.6 million on Solana; most came from Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain (DefiLlama). On Solana, Axiom is roughly eight times busier.

Referral programs

Both pay referrers, but only Axiom documents a benefit for the person being referred.

  • Axiom: referred users get 10% off fees. Referrers earn 30% of Axiom's net fee from direct referrals, 3% from the second level and 2% from the third (Axiom).
  • GMGN: referrers earn 10% to 30% commission, rising with referred volume, and can apply for higher rates (GMGN). A referee discount isn't documented.

Bottom line

For Solana-focused desktop trading, Axiom is cheaper and where most of the action is. For copy trading, mobile, Telegram or multichain memecoins, GMGN is more flexible. Many traders keep an account on both. Also see Axiom vs Photon and our full Solana trading bot ranking.

Risk note: Memecoin trading is high risk, and both platforms use hot wallets that can be phished or compromised. Only trade money you can afford to lose.
