Our pick for Solana memecoin traders in 2026 is CoinLedger (7.9/10), because it imports every Solana wallet and previews your gains free with no transaction cap, charges $99 for up to 1,000 transactions, exports to the major US tax programs and refunds any purchase within 14 days. CoinTracker (7.5) is second because one purchase covers every year you've traded, Koinly (8.0) offers a 10,000-transaction free import with documented Jupiter support, and Awaken Tax (7.2) has the most detailed Solana DeFi parsing.
Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.
Not tax advice: This page explains how tools work and what the IRS has published. Your situation may differ. Talk to a tax professional before you file.
Trading bots like Axiom, Trojan and GMGN don't send you a tax form. Each buy and sell is a swap from your bot wallet, and in the US each swap can be a taxable disposal (how memecoin taxes work). Tax software reads those wallets from the blockchain and turns thousands of swaps into Form 8949. We compared four tools on what we could verify as of September 26, 2026. We did not buy reports from any of them.
The ranking
1. CoinLedger: editor's pick
CoinLedger's pricing is among the lowest here: $49 (100 transactions), $99 (1,000) and $199+ (3,000+), with free import and preview and no cap on imported transactions. Every report plan includes Form 8949, income, capital gains and audit trail reports, and it exports to TurboTax, TaxAct, H&R Block and TaxSlayer. It offers a full refund within 14 days of purchase, so you can buy a report, check it and still back out.
You connect a Solana wallet by public address (CoinLedger Solana). Its help center says to import Jupiter trades by choosing Solana and pasting your wallet, and that DEX support covers spot trades, not perps (CoinLedger help). Memecoin swaps from bots are spot trades.
- Watch out for: its Solana page names no specific Solana apps; in November 2025 names and emails were exposed through analytics vendor Mixpanel, and CoinLedger said transaction data was not involved (CoinLedger).

2. CoinTracker: best for past years
CoinTracker's pricing is higher per transaction: $59 (100), $99 (250), $199 (1,000), $299 (2,500) and $599 (10,000), with larger tiers above. The upside is that "one purchase covers your forms for every year you've traded", and only the current year's transactions count toward the limit. Prime and above add tax-loss harvesting, and it publishes prices for tiers up to 50,000 transactions.
CoinTracker syncs Solana by public address (support) and says it auto-categorizes Solana apps including Jupiter, Orca, Meteora, Kamino and marginfi (CoinTracker). Spam tokens and dust are filtered on every plan, which helps memecoin wallets full of airdropped junk.
- Watch out for: about 1.5 million users' emails were exposed in December 2022 through a breach at email provider SendGrid (Have I Been Pwned).

3. Koinly: large free tier
Koinly's free plan imports up to 10,000 transactions and shows a capital gains preview, so you can see the damage before paying. Paid plans cost the same as CoinLedger's: $49 (100 transactions), $99 (1,000) and $199+ (3,000+) per tax year, and each includes Form 8949, Schedule D, an audit report and a TurboTax export. Koinly says it supports up to 100,000 transactions on regular accounts.
For Solana, you paste a public address and Koinly syncs it. Its Solana guide says "Jupiter spot trading is fully supported" and that the initial sync imports up to the 100,000 most recent transactions. Its known-issues page lists extra steps for Jupiter limit orders, DCA and perps.
- Watch out for: no reports on the free plan; the same November 2025 Mixpanel incident exposed names and emails, though Koinly said wallet and transaction data were not shared (Cryptonews).
4. Awaken Tax: Solana specialist
Awaken's Solana guide covers Jupiter swaps, limit orders and DCA plus Raydium and Orca pools, and says it handles "more than 99% of swaps automatically." Its pricing starts free for 100 transactions (preview only), then $99 (300), $199-$399 (1,000-5,000) and $599-$999 (10,000-50,000). Paid plans include past years' reports, Form 8949, Schedule D and TurboTax and TaxAct exports.
- Watch out for: the highest entry price for reports, each wallet added separately, and perps it suggests handling outside Awaken.

How many transactions will you have?
Bot traders burn through limits fast. Every buy and every sell is at least one transaction, so 20 round trips a day is about 40 transactions, or about 14,600 in a year. At that size only CoinTracker's 50,000 tier and Awaken's Whale plan publish a price; CoinLedger and Koinly sell extra transactions above their top plan without listing the price. Check the count in the free preview before you buy.
How to import bot trades
- List every wallet. Your bot wallet, any extra wallets you created, and the wallet you withdraw to. Our guides for Axiom, Trojan and GMGN show where to find them.
- Add each public address to the tax tool. Never enter a private key or seed phrase. Tax software only needs the public address.
- Link transfers. Mark moves between your own wallets as transfers, not sales.
- Review the problem list: tokens with no price, missing cost basis and unknown programs.
- Preview, then pay for the tier that fits your count.
How we ranked them
We scored each tool on price and free tier (30%), Solana and reporting features (30%), security and track record (25%) and ease of use (15%), in line with our method. The order is our editors' pick, not a sort by score, so position and score don't always line up: Koinly (8.0) sits at #3 behind CoinLedger (7.9) and CoinTracker (7.5). If price matters most, CoinLedger and Koinly both charge $99 for 1,000 transactions. If you're catching up on past years, CoinTracker and Awaken include them. Awaken has the highest entry price and the shortest track record of the four.

These tools don't rank in our main Solana trading bot ranking. For the bots themselves, see our Axiom review, Trojan review and GMGN review.
Risk note
Tax software can misread swaps, miss wallets or price illiquid tokens badly. Review the results, keep your own records, and have a tax professional check anything unclear. Memecoin trading itself is extremely high risk; only use money you can afford to lose.
