The best Solana trading bot for beginners in 2026 is FOMO (7.2/10): a phone app with a social feed, no gas charged on trades and a simple buy flow. BONKbot (6.8) is the simplest Telegram bot, Trojan (7.0) has a Simple Mode and the most room to grow, and Axiom (9.1) is the easiest desktop terminal to pick up.
Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.
This list ranks ease of starting and clarity of costs above feature depth, so the order differs from our main ranking. A beginner-friendly bot doesn't make memecoins less risky; it only makes the tool easier to use.
The ranking
1. FOMO: easiest first app
FOMO runs as native iOS and Android apps plus a web version at fomo.family. You follow traders, see what they buy and trade with a tap. TechCrunch reported a 0.5% fee with a $0.95 minimum on Solana, and that gas isn't charged to users (TechCrunch). The wallet is managed by Privy, and FOMO's terms say you can export your private key.
- Why beginners like it: Apple Pay funding (per fomo.family), no priority-fee settings to learn, one balance across chains
- Watch out for: the minimum fee on small trades, and a social feed that can amplify hype

2. BONKbot: simplest Telegram bot
BONKbot keeps the Telegram flow short: paste a token address, pick an amount, confirm. Its fee is a clear 1% per successful swap (BONKbot docs), and its site lists MEV protection, limit orders and a trailing stop loss (bonkbot.io).
- Why beginners like it: few menus, a published fee, and a web terminal (Telemetry) when you want charts
- Watch out for: no copy trading, Solana only

3. Trojan: best bot to grow into
Trojan has a Simple Mode for basic swaps and an Advanced Mode with every tool, per its docs. It charges 1% with 20% cashback for all users, so about 0.8% net, and adds a Secure Action Password for sensitive actions. Start in Simple Mode; our how to use Trojan bot guide walks through setup.
- Why beginners like it: lower net fee than a flat 1%, and you won't outgrow it
- Watch out for: if a feature seems missing, you may be in Simple Mode

4. Axiom: easiest pro terminal
Axiom is where most Solana terminal volume trades (DefiLlama). Its web interface is fast to learn, and its docs auto-calculate priority fees and bribes by default. Referred users get 10% off fees (Axiom).
- Why beginners like it: the busiest token feed and sensible defaults
- Watch out for: desktop-first with no official app, and a busy screen that rewards fast clicking; the February 2026 insider allegation is covered in our review

Terms every beginner should know
- Hot wallet: a wallet whose key is online so the bot can sign trades. Convenient, and easier to drain than a hardware wallet.
- Slippage: how far the price can move before your order fails. High slippage fills more trades but can cost a lot on thin tokens.
- Priority fee: an optional extra paid to Solana validators to process your transaction sooner (Solana docs).
- Bonding curve: the launch stage of a Pump.fun token, where Pump.fun charges 1.25% per trade (Pump.fun).
- MEV protection: routing that makes it harder for other bots to sandwich your trade.

A safe first week
- Pick one bot from this list and open it only from the official site or the links above. Fake bots and look-alike apps are common.
- Use a new wallet made just for trading. Don't connect your main wallet.
- Deposit a small amount you'd accept losing, then make one small buy and one sell.
- Withdraw once to a wallet you control, so you know the exit works before you add more.
- Back up the private key offline if the bot lets you export it, and turn on Telegram two-step verification for Telegram bots.
- Skip automation for now. Sniping and copy trading can wait until you understand fees and slippage.

Why fees matter more for beginners
New traders tend to make many small trades, and every trade pays the bot fee twice (buy and sell), plus network and venue fees. On a $20 trade, FOMO's $0.95 minimum is almost 5%, while a 1% bot charges $0.20. On a Pump.fun bonding-curve token, the venue adds 1.25% each way. How we picked
We took the eight bots in our ranking and ordered them for beginners by onboarding (app or Telegram, sign-in method), a published or reported fee, beginner modes and defaults, and our overall score. Usability is 15% of our standard rating, so this list weights it more than our main order does. We did not trade with these bots; facts come from the linked sources, checked September 26, 2026. Method details: about page.
Not in this list: GMGN is powerful but has many settings, and Photon, Padre (Terminal) and SolPump are web terminals aimed at more active traders.
