Trojan

  • Pro: Docs say every user gets 20% cashback on the 1% fee
  • Pro: Limit orders, DCA, copy trading, sniping and MEV protection
  • Pro: Available as a Telegram bot and a web terminal
  • Pro: No confirmed platform-level exploit found in our research

  • Con: Telegram bot wallets are hot wallets managed by the bot

Trojan is the better tool for active Solana traders, and FOMO is the better app for phone-first traders who place larger trades. Trojan scores 7.0/10 to FOMO's 7.2/10 on the strength of sniping, limit orders and DCA. FOMO is simpler, covers more chains and costs less than Trojan's ~0.8% on Solana trades above about $119.

Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.

FOMO ranks above Trojan on our list (#2 vs #4) even though Trojan scores higher. The list is an editors' order that weighs usage and ease of starting next to the score (how we rank).

Quick verdict

  • Pick Trojan for sniping, limit and DCA orders, copy trading and ~0.8% net on every Solana trade, in Telegram or on the web. Open Trojan
  • Pick FOMO for a native app, social copy trading, gas included and memecoins on several chains from one balance. Open FOMO

Fees

These two are the cheapest options on our list, in different ways.

Trojan's rate is published and simple: 1% on successful trades, with 20% back to every user. Net, about 0.8% on any trade size.

FOMO doesn't publish its rate on its own site; its terms say the fee is shown before you confirm. TechCrunch reported 0.5% per trade, a $0.95 minimum on Solana, and no gas charged to users. The minimum decides the winner (our calculations, platform fee only):

Solana tradeFOMOTrojan (~0.8%)
$40$0.95$0.32
$119$0.95$0.95
$600$3.00$4.80

Above about $119, FOMO is cheaper, and it also saves you the priority fee because it covers gas. Below that, Trojan wins, often by a lot. If you trade Base or BNB Chain on FOMO, TechCrunch said there's no minimum there. See Solana trading bot fees compared.

Winner: depends on trade size. FOMO for larger trades, Trojan for small ones.

FOMO: fomo.family, terms, FOMO on DFlow. Trojan: docs, trojan.com.

Trojan is a toolbox: auto-snipe new launches with filters, set orders by price, market cap or time, split entries with DCA. FOMO is a feed: you see what other traders are buying and act on it. The one thing FOMO has that Trojan doesn't is other chains, all from one balance without manual bridging.

Winner: Trojan.

Safety

We found no reported hack or exploit of FOMO, and no confirmed platform-level exploit of Trojan in news coverage or Helius's list of Solana hacks. Both score 9.0 on security in our method.

The attack surface differs. With Trojan, whoever controls your Telegram account can reach the bot, so two-step verification and Trojan's Secure Action Password matter. With FOMO, it's your phone and app login. FOMO is also much younger, launched in May 2025, so there's less history to judge. Both let you export your private key; store it offline and don't paste it into other apps. More in Telegram trading bot security.

Winner: tie.

Ease of use

FOMO is the easier start: install the app, fund with Apple Pay, tap to buy or copy. Trojan's Telegram bot has Simple and Advanced modes (CoinGecko), but you'll still set slippage, priority fees and MEV protection yourself. Both score 9 on usability.

Winner: FOMO for beginners.

Usage

As of September 26, 2026, DefiLlama shows FOMO earning about $11.44 million in Solana fees over 30 days and Trojan about $1.08 million, so FOMO is roughly ten times busier on Solana. Trojan's lifetime total, about $227 million, shows how much activity has moved from Telegram bots to apps and web terminals.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is FOMO better than Trojan?

Trojan scores higher (7.0/10 vs 7.2/10) because it adds sniping, limit orders and DCA. FOMO is easier on a phone, covers more chains and is cheaper on larger Solana trades.

FOMO or Trojan: which has lower fees?

It depends on trade size. Trojan nets about 0.8% after 20% cashback. TechCrunch reported FOMO at 0.5% with a $0.95 minimum on Solana, so FOMO is cheaper above roughly $119 per trade and more expensive below it (our calculation).

Do FOMO and Trojan both have copy trading?

Yes. FOMO copies traders from a social feed with a tap. Trojan lists copy trading in its docs and lets you track and copy specific wallets from its web terminal.

Is FOMO or Trojan safer?

Both have clean records in the sources we checked: no reported hack of FOMO and no confirmed platform exploit of Trojan. FOMO is younger, having launched in May 2025.
