Unclaimed SOL is a legit, audited SOL reclaim tool that charges 2% per closed token account, and it scores 8.6/10 with us. It is the only tool we cover with a public third-party audit (CyberScope, January 2025), and it recovers more than empty token accounts: deactivated stake, program buffers, excess lamports and some trading rewards. Its main drawback is a shorter record, since it started in early 2025.
Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.
Paste your address into our read-only SOL reclaim estimator first. It shows how many empty token accounts you have and roughly how much rent is locked in them, without connecting a wallet.

What Unclaimed SOL is
Every Solana token account holds a refundable rent deposit, and closing an empty one returns "all of its lamports, including its refundable minimum storage balance" (Solana docs). See Solana rent explained.
Unclaimed SOL says it "scans beyond basic empty token accounts", also checking program accounts, deactivated stake accounts and other account types. Its about page says it started "in early 2025" and is run by two independent builders, "Nex" (product and engineering) and "Balenci" (growth and operations), without VC funding. It works with "Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and standard Solana wallets", and its docs include guides for trading bot wallets such as Trojan, BullX, Photon and BONKbot.
Unclaimed SOL fees
From its fee schedule, as of September 26, 2026:
| What you recover | Fee |
|---|---|
| Empty SPL or Token-2022 account | Greater of 2% or rent above 0.002 SOL |
| NFT burn (standard) | Fixed 500,000 lamports |
| pNFT burn | Fixed 1,950,000 lamports |
| Deactivated stake | 3% |
| Pump.fun and PumpSwap rewards | 3%, capped at 1 SOL or 100 USDC |
| Program buffers | 5% |
| Excess lamports | 5% |
| Raydium, Meteora, Kamino rewards | 5% |
| Specialized recovery | 30% |
| Jupiter swaps | 1.5% referral fee in the quote |
Its worked example: a 2,039,280-lamport account pays a 40,785-lamport fee and you receive 1,998,495 lamports, which is 2%. So 100 legacy empty accounts return about 0.2 SOL after the fee. All fees display before you sign. Its own Sol Incinerator comparison also mentions a "20% service-fee cleanup cashback"; we couldn't find its conditions on the fee page.
Some third-party listings show older numbers (Solana Compass lists 5% on token accounts), so rely on the official schedule and the amount shown before signing.

Risk labels and Purge mode. Its getting started docs say to "Review risk labels" and describe a Purge mode "for highest rewards (but be cautious)". For Token-2022, "close-only mode is enabled by default. Burns are attempted only when allowed by the mint." Stay in close-only mode unless you know exactly what you're burning.
How to use Unclaimed SOL, step by step
Based on its docs, plus our safety steps:
- Check your wallet read-only with the SOL reclaim estimator.
- Type unclaimedsol.com yourself. Its security page names this as the canonical domain and warns against lookalikes.
- Use a burner or low-value wallet first, or claim a small batch.
- Connect your wallet and scan. It never asks for a seed phrase or private key.
- Review the risk labels and fees. Keep close-only mode; skip Purge mode unless you've checked every token.
- Click Claim and read each transaction in your wallet. You can check that it calls the published program ID

Is Unclaimed SOL safe? Audit and track record
Audit. CyberScope audited the Unclaimed SOL program in January 2025 and lists it as Low Risk, with a 96% security score. Its security page says the audit shows "7 total audit findings: 0 critical, 1 medium unresolved, and 6 minor unresolved." CyberScope also shows no KYC for the team. An audit lowers risk but doesn't remove it, and it covers the program as audited in January 2025.
Transparency. It publishes its program ID, fee wallet, fee schedule and public claim records. We found no statement that the app is open source.
Track record. It started in early 2025 (about); Solana Compass lists January 2025. That's shorter than Sol Incinerator (December 2021) or Claim Your Sol (January 2023). Its Trustpilot page had eight reviews and no theft reports when we checked. We found no reported exploit.
Clones. Its security page tells users to avoid lookalike domains. We didn't find a specific drainer domain using its name in PhishDestroy or PCrisk, but fake "claim SOL" sites are common (PCrisk). Use only unclaimedsol.com.

Fees checked September 26, 2026 on each tool's own site. Unclaimed SOL is #6 in our best SOL reclaim tools list. That list is an editors' order, not a sort by score, so its position doesn't mean it scores lowest. Other options: Sol-Cleaner and Your Free SOL. More in Sol Incinerator alternatives.
Who Unclaimed SOL is for
Good fit: anyone who wants the lowest published fee plus an audit, and wallets with more than empty token accounts to clean up, such as deactivated stake, old program buffers or unclaimed Pump.fun rewards.
Look elsewhere if: you want the longest track record (Sol Incinerator), need documented cNFT burns (Sol Incinerator), or are technical and want to pay only network fees (the CLI in how to reclaim SOL).
Verdict
Unclaimed SOL publishes more than any other reclaim tool we cover: fee schedule, program ID, fee wallet, its builders and a third-party audit. It matches the lowest published fee and recovers the widest range of account types. Its record is shorter, and the audit lists unresolved findings, so start small and read what you sign. For the bots that create these accounts, see our Solana trading bot ranking.
