Sol Incinerator is the SOL reclaim tool we rank first, with a score of 8.7/10. It has the longest track record we found (live since December 2021), its default mode only closes empty token accounts, and it keeps about 2% of the rent it recovers. The weak spots: no public third-party audit, and a steady supply of fake clone sites.
Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.
Before connecting any wallet, paste your address into our read-only SOL reclaim estimator to see how many empty accounts you have and roughly how much SOL is locked in them. It never connects a wallet.

What Sol Incinerator is
Every token you hold on Solana sits in a token account, and each account holds a refundable rent deposit. When you sell or send all of a token, the account usually stays open and empty, with the deposit still inside. Closing it "transfers all of its lamports, including its refundable minimum storage balance" to you (Solana docs). Background: Solana rent explained.
Sol Incinerator is a web app that finds those empty accounts and closes them in bulk. Its safety page says it has run since December 2021 and was "built by the Sol Slugs team" (Sol Incinerator). It is non-custodial: "your private keys never leave your wallet and every action requires your explicit signature." Beyond reclaiming rent, it has optional burn tools for tokens, NFTs and more, plus extras such as swap, mass send and a tax-loss harvester listed in its docs.
Sol Incinerator fees
As of September 26, 2026, from its own pages:
- Legacy empty accounts: "you receive a flat 0.002 SOL from roughly 0.00204 SOL of reclaimed rent, so the service keeps about 1.93%" (Sol Incinerator).
- After the 2026 rent cuts: it "charges a base protocol fee of 200 basis points, or 2%, of the gross surplus" (Sol Incinerator, September 3, 2026).
- Upfront cost: none. "There is no upfront service charge."
- Zero-SOL wallets: if your wallet can't pay the network fee, "Sol Incinerator pays it and normally recovers twice that fee from the SOL reclaimed in the same transaction."
- Pro Mode burn fees: we could not find a published per-burn fee schedule in its docs, so check the amount shown before you sign.
Its fees go to a public wallet (burn68h9dS2tvZwtCFMt79SyaEgvqtcZZWJphizQxgt) that you can inspect on a Solana explorer, according to its safety page. At the legacy rate, 100 empty accounts return about 0.2 SOL after the fee.

Fun Mode vs Pro Mode. The default Fun Mode "only closes empty token accounts and reward accounts after claiming available rewards" and "never burns tokens or NFTs." Pro Mode is where the destructive tools live: you select tokens, NFTs, compressed NFTs or domains and burn them. Burns can't be undone. Its docs also say closing empty accounts doesn't affect "any past or future airdrops you are eligible for" (Fun Mode docs).
Trading bot wallets. Sol Incinerator publishes bot-specific guides, for example for Trojan, that walk you through exporting the bot wallet's key into Phantom, Solflare or Jupiter Mobile before cleaning it. Our version: how to reclaim SOL from trading bots.
How to use Sol Incinerator, step by step
Based on its site and Fun Mode docs, plus our safety steps:
- Check your wallet read-only first with the SOL reclaim estimator, so you know roughly what to expect.
- Type sol-incinerator.com yourself or use a bookmark. Check every letter; see the clone list below.
- Start with a burner or low-value wallet, or close just a few accounts, before a full sweep.
- Connect your wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or another Solana wallet). The real site never asks for a seed phrase or private key.
- Stay in Fun Mode. It shows the empty accounts and estimated SOL before you approve anything.
- Click Claim SOL and read the transaction in your wallet. It should close accounts and send SOL to you. Reject anything that transfers tokens or SOL to another address or changes an account's owner.
- Confirm the result on a Solana explorer.
Only switch to Pro Mode if you have identified exactly which tokens or NFTs are worthless. Never burn a position a trading bot is still managing. Full walkthrough with the free CLI alternative: how to reclaim SOL.
Is Sol Incinerator safe? Track record and clones
Track record. Live since December 2021 by its own account, which is the longest history among the tools we cover. We found no reported exploit of the official app. It publishes a security policy that pays bug bounties "up to 10% of demonstrated value at risk", covering its on-chain programs and the sol-incinerator.com interface.
Audit. We found no public third-party audit and no open-source code for the app. Its safety page doesn't mention one either.
Clone sites. This is the real risk. Security researchers have flagged several look-alike domains as wallet drainers:
- sol-incinerator[.]tax, which activates a drainer once you connect (PCrisk, updated January 2026)
- sol-lncinerator[.]org, with a lowercase "l" in place of the "i" (PCrisk, September 2025)
- sol-incinerator[.]app, flagged as critical in March 2026 (PhishDestroy)
- sol-incinerator[.]org, flagged in April 2026 (PhishDestroy)
The only official domain is sol-incinerator.com. Don't follow links from DMs, replies, search ads or the names of airdropped tokens.

Who Sol Incinerator is for
Good fit:
- Memecoin traders with dozens or hundreds of empty accounts from bots or wallets.
- Anyone who wants a close-only default so nothing gets burned by accident.
- Wallets holding no SOL, thanks to the fee advance.
- Users who also want to clear spam NFTs, cNFTs or dead LP tokens.
Look elsewhere if:
- You want a public audit: Unclaimed SOL has one.
- You're technical and want to pay only network fees: the
spl-tokenCLI route is in how to reclaim SOL.
Verdict
Sol Incinerator is the default choice for reclaiming SOL rent: a long record, a published fee of about 2%, and a close-only mode that protects beginners. Treat the missing audit and the clone sites seriously, test with a small wallet, and read every transaction. For the bots that create all those accounts in the first place, see our Solana trading bot ranking.
