Kolscan is a free Solana wallet tracker that shows what well-known memecoin traders and KOLs (key opinion leaders) buy and sell in real time, with a profit leaderboard. It's owned by Pump.fun, which bought it in July 2025. It's useful for spotting what active wallets are trading, but copying those wallets is one of the easiest ways to end up as someone else's exit liquidity.
Risk notice: Crypto trading is high risk and memecoins can go to zero in minutes. Trading bots use hot wallets. This page is not financial advice; only trade what you can afford to lose.

What Kolscan does
Kolscan's site describes it as "a Solana wallet tracker that monitors the activities of top memecoin traders and KOLs," providing "realtime transactions, token PnL, and a leaderboard ranking their performance." Its FAQ says "all Kolscan features are free to use."
The main parts:
- Trades feed: a live list of buys and sells by tracked wallets, with the token, amount, price and time. Each entry links to the transaction on Solscan, so you can verify it on-chain.
- Leaderboard: the KOL Leaderboard ranks the top 50 tracked traders by profit, shown in SOL with a USD equivalent.
- Wallet pages: each trader has a page with their recent trades and PnL. You can also search any wallet address; Kolscan says data for non-KOL wallets is "initially limited to the last 100 transactions unless you choose to load more."
- Tokens: a discovery view of new and trending tokens among tracked wallets.
- Chain filter: Solana is the focus, but the filter also lists Ethereum, Base, BSC and other networks.
Kolscan also invites traders to apply: its FAQ asks wallets with "$100k+ PnL in recent months" to get in touch for verification. So the leaderboard is a curated list of applicants and known names, not every profitable wallet on Solana.
Pump.fun's acquisition
On July 10, 2025, Pump.fun announced Kolscan as its first acquisition. The Block reported that terms weren't disclosed and that Pump.fun planned to keep the service free, make the leaderboard "reward real traders again" and give better insight into copy-trading activity. Cointelegraph quoted co-founder Alon Cohen calling on-chain trading "a social sport" and noted the deal came days before Pump.fun's PUMP token sale.
Kolscan's site now links to a Pump.fun app listing. In practice, Kolscan is part of Pump.fun's push to make memecoin trading social, alongside its launchpad and its Terminal. For background on the launchpad, see what is Pump.fun.
How to use Kolscan
- Go to kolscan.io directly. Kolscan only reads public data, so it never needs your wallet. Treat any Kolscan-branded page asking you to connect or sign as a scam.
- Start with the trades feed to see what tracked wallets are buying right now.
- Open a trader's wallet page before trusting their leaderboard rank. Look at how many trades they make, how big their wins and losses are, and whether profit comes from one lucky token.
- Click through to Solscan on trades that interest you, and check the token itself: mint and freeze authority, LP, holder concentration. Our rug pull checklist covers the steps.
- Track, don't copy, at first. If you want alerts, add the wallet to a tracker. If you decide to copy, set small, capped sizes.
Kolscan doesn't place trades. To act on what you see, you paste a token address into a bot or terminal, or add a wallet to a bot's copy-trading tool.
Kolscan vs other wallet trackers
| Tool | Cost | What it's best at | Trade from it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kolscan | Free | Curated KOL leaderboard and live KOL trades | No |
| GMGN | Free to track; 1% per trade | Smart-money labels plus copy trading | Yes |
| Cielo | Free plan; paid tiers | Telegram and Discord alerts for many wallets | No |
| Axiom | Free to track; trading fees apply | Tracked buys shown on its token feed | Yes |
Kolscan's edge is the curated KOL list. If you want alerts or automation, a full tracker or terminal does more; see the best Solana wallet tracker and best Solana copy trading bots.
The risks of following KOL wallets
A public leaderboard of influencer wallets creates obvious incentives to game it.
Side-wallet front-running. In October 2026, on-chain analytics firm Bubblemaps reported that a crypto influencer with about 200,000 X followers appeared to use five linked side wallets to buy tokens seconds before publicly calling them, then sell after followers piled in. Across 534 calls over two weeks, it said 61% of the tokens saw targeted buying within 20 seconds before the post, with about $130,000 cashed out (TechFlow). Bubblemaps described this as strong evidence of shared control, not proof. The pattern matters for Kolscan users: the wallet you can see may be the decoy.
Exit liquidity. A tracked wallet knows it's being watched. It can buy a thin token, let copiers push the price up and sell into them. Its PnL looks great; followers bought the top.
You always arrive late. A copy fills after the leader's trade lands, often at a worse price, and every other copier is racing you. Our guide to copy trading Solana wallets explains why.
Survivorship bias. A top-50 leaderboard shows winners. It can't show the many wallets that blew up, or whether a big win came from inside information.
Even the Kolscan acquisition had an insider-style twist: DL News reported that a cluster of connected wallets made over $3 million buying a Kolscan token before the public announcement. Pump.fun and Kolscan did not respond to DL News's requests for comment.
Bottom line
Kolscan is a free, easy way to watch what Solana's most visible memecoin traders are doing, and its links to Solscan make every trade verifiable. Use it as an idea feed and a research starting point. Don't treat a leaderboard rank as proof of skill, don't copy wallets at full size, and never connect your wallet to anything claiming to be Kolscan.
